Connect Devin

Devin on the web

1. In Devin, open Settings → Connections → MCP servers, then select Add a custom MCP.
2. Choose the HTTP transport and enter https://api.whippy.co/mcp.
3. Choose OAuth for authentication. Don't enter an API key or headers.
4. Save, then sign in to Whippy in the Devin popup, choose your workspace, and approve.

Devin's Access setting decides whose Whippy account the connection uses. With Organization, every member's sessions use the account that signed in, so sign in with an account whose Whippy role fits everyone who uses it. With Personal, each member signs in with their own Whippy account.

Devin CLI

devin mcp add whippy https://api.whippy.co/mcp
devin mcp login whippy

devin mcp login opens the Whippy sign-in page in your browser. The CLI receives the result on http://localhost:8765/callback, so another program using port 8765 will make sign-in fail. Close it and try again. The CLI keeps its own tokens, separate from Devin on the web.

Remove

Remove the server in Devin, then disconnect Devin in Whippy under Connected apps.
